A BBC presenter has shared how she accidentally gave birth to the sound of ‘Firestarter’ by The Prodigy.

Fiona Mills, a presenter on BBC Radio Humberside, shared the memory in a now-viral Twitter thread yesterday.

Her story follows the tragic news that Keith Flint, the 90s band’s front man, was yesterday found dead at his home in Essex after reportedly taking his own life.

Taking to social media after hearing the news, the mum-of-three shared how her husband accidentally brought a tape from The Prodigy to the birth of her eldest son.

While the electronic rave anthem might not be seen as a typical song for bringing a child into the world, Mills says she doesn’t regret her choice.

And it would seem she isn’t the only mother to associate ‘Firestarter’ with pregnancy and raising a child, as Twitter users weighed in.

Others have thanked Mills for sharing the memory, which honoured the late musician, Flint.
