The Baltimore Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh, is one of the most well respected minds in all of football. Harbaugh is the third longest tenured coach in the NFL, a Super Bowl champion, the 2019 AP NFL Coach of the Year, and holds the NFL record for road playoff wins. To say he knows ball is an understatement.

Harbaugh made headlines this week when discussing college programs that stand out to him. He believes that certain institutions and certain coaches are going to produce players that are much more ready for the league.

“There are certain college football programs that are built like NFL programs. Alabama is one, Michigan is the other one. The two top ones, I would say. Those are the ones I’m thinking of off the top of my head. So those guys generally come in and they know what to expect. It’s a little flatter for those guys in terms of practice and understanding how it works,” Harbaugh said.

The comments come on the heels of the Ravens drafting Michigan linebacker David Ojabo in round two and Alabama cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis in the fourth round. The Ravens expect these two guys to compete for starting spots from day one.
