Back to Jersey? Angelo Ferrari makes visit to Rutgers wrestling

Angelo Ferrari, the top-ranked wrestling recruit in the nation, is coming off a weekend visit to the Rutgers wrestling program.

In late December, Ferrari announced a top five that included Rutgers. He is the top-ranked recruit in the nation according to FloWrestling.

Originally from New Jersey, Ferrari is now wrestling at Melissa High School (Melissa, TX).

On Monday, Ferrari posted on his Instagram account a photo gallery from his visit to the Rutgers wrestling program. He tagged the photos ‘Back to Jersey.’

It has been a big offseason for Rutgers wrestling. Last week, Sebastian Rivera won a bronze medal in the Pan-American Championships in Argentina.

The program has also been very active in the transfer portal, landing two significant incoming talents.
