Austin Rivers set to return from injury, make Knicks debut at Raptors
Austin Rivers is prepared to debut with the Knicks, he said in a media availability Thursday morning.
Ahead of a 7:30 p.m. game against the Toronto Raptors (0-3) at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., SNY's Ian Begley relayed that Rivers revealed he injured his groin a few days before his Nov. 22 deal with the Knicks (2-2).
Rivers, 28, averaged 8.8 points and 2.6 rebounds as a backup guard with the Houston Rockets in 2019-20.
