Head coach Bruce Pearl says that his team “made progress” during their trip to New York, but there are several aspects that he hopes to see his team work on during Tuesday’s tilt.
“Valuing possessions, I think our physicality of our play. Notre Dame was a bit more physical in the first half, which was disappointing. We have to be more physical, rebounding. Finishing plays, like we’ll play really good defense then give up an offensive rebound…end of possessions, and on the offensive end, valuing possessions. Attack in numbers and play aggressively and with freedom.”
