Auburn Recruiting: Future Tigers start their senior season

The college football season is right around the corner. While Auburn has yet to take the field, several future Tigers started their high school seasons last weekend.

Not all of Auburn’s commits opened their seasons: Jay Fair, Micah Riley-Ducker and Holden Geriner will start their seasons shortly.

Here’s a look at how several of Auburn commits started their senior seasons

Damari Alston, RB

https://twitter.com/DamariAlston/status/1429234177552093190?s=20 Alston was dominant in his first game, powering Woodward Academy to a 17-14 victory over Eagles Landing Christian Academy. Alston finished with 24 carries for 156 yards, two touchdowns and a fumble. He caught two passes for 47 yards.

Tre Donaldson, S

Brian Miller/Democrat

Donaldson did not play in the first week of the season, due to an injury but should return to the field soon, per the Tallahassee Democrat.

Omari Kelly, ATH

https://twitter.com/kelly_omari/status/1428477101993340928?s=20 Kelly was all over the field for Hewitt-Trussville in its 49-27 win over Pinson Valley. Kelly caught six passes for 95 yards and had 40 yards rushing per Auburn Undercover’s Jason Caldwell.
