Well, that didn’t take long.

Earlier in the week, Auburn football lost defensive line coach Nick Eason to the Clemson Tigers.

Not two days later, Adam Schefter reports that Auburn is pursuing Brentson Buckner to be the next defensive line coach.

Buckner has a decade worth of playing experience in the NFL and is currently in his ninth year of coaching defensive linemen at the professional level.

He is also from the area as he graduated from Carver in Columbus.

Bryan Harsin went to the NFL for his first defensive line hire during his Auburn tenure and appears to want to keep the same approach for his second go-round.
