Auburn is one of the schools 4-star WR Cam Coleman is hearing from the most

Cam Coleman is the latest impressive wide receiver to come out of Phoenix City, Alabama. The four-star prospect already has over 15 scholarship offers but he is hearing from five schools the most.

Coleman told On3’s Jeremy Johnson that he is hearing from Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, and Florida State the most.

Auburn was one of the first schools to extend an offer to the 6-foot-3, 180-pound playmaker. They offered him on May 24, 2022, and despite the coaching change are still making him a priority with wide receiver coach Marcus Davis leading the charge.

“On coach (Marcus) Davis‘ first day, he introduced himself to me and we’ve been in contact ever since,” Coleman told On3. “They have a lot of experience with Auburn and across the NFL and college football.”

Coleman is the No. 262 overall player and No. 39 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 16 player from Alabama in the 2024 recruiting class.

Auburn is looking to add bigger-bodied wide receivers that thrive in Hugh Freeze’s offense and Coleman is undeniably one of their top targets. He caught 31 passes for 542 yards and six touchdowns last season for Central-Phenix City.
