Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports that the Astros have acquired pitcher Joe Biagini from the Blue Jays.

Biagini, 29, has pitched exclusively in relief this year, posting a 3.86 ERA with 49 strikeouts and 17 walks in 49 innings. He will join Héctor Rondón and Will Harris, helping bridge the gap to closer Roberto Osuna.

Biagini has three more years of arbitration eligibility remaining, giving the Astros plenty of contractual control.
