An arrest has been made in the crash that killed James White's father, Tyrone, in South Florida last month.

Daniel Chamblin, 32, turned himself in Thursday. He faces multiple charges including vehicular homicide and reckless driving, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

Tyrone was the passenger in a Volkswagen Passat that was struck by Chamblin's Subaru WRX, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene and White's mother, Lisa, was left in critical condition.

Chamblin was booked into jail Thursday and held without bond, records showed.

On Wednesday, White shared a positive update on his mother's health.
