Around 200 trapped climbers rescued in Nepal avalanche
Officials on Sunday (January 19) said around 200 climbers trapped on the side of a mountain in Nepal had been rescued.
The group includes tourists and guides stuck after an avalanche the nation's Annapurna region.
Seven trekkers, including four South Koreans, went missing in Nepal's northwest Himalayan region after a snowslide hit their trail on Friday (January 17).
The area where the avalanche struck is estimated to be about 93 miles northwest of Nepal's capital Kathmandu city.
Mount Annapurna, in northwest Nepal, is the world's tenth highest mountain
its base camp is popular with thousands of trekkers who visit each year.
