How Arkansas’ series win at Texas A&M affects them in the national polls

Arkansas Softball had a very rewarding regular season finale in Bryan-College Station over the weekend, where every game was significant.

Despite losing to Texas A&M in nine innings on Friday night, The Razorbacks found out that they had won the outright SEC regular-season championship with Alabama’s loss to Missouri, giving them back-to-back regular-season titles.

Arkansas would go on to hit eight home runs over the final two games of the series to win their eighth consecutive series over a conference opponent, the only team in the conference to do so this season.

As the Razorbacks head into the SEC Tournament, they remain a top-5 program. Here’s how the national polls ranked Arkansas this week:
