Arkansas run-rules Harvard 11-0, plays Oregon on Saturday

Rainy weather threw a wrench in the schedule on Friday night, but the Arkansas softball team didn’t let it affect its focus.

A grand slam from Raigan Kramer in the fifth sent the Razorback fans home happy just after 11:30 p.m. with a 11-0 victory over Harvard.

Arkansas (39-17) advances to play Oregon at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The game against Harvard was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m., but it was delayed after rain delayed the Oregon-Notre Dame opener. The first pitch of the Arkansas game did not commence until 9:42 p.m.

Hannah Camenzind was sensational in her NCAA Tournament debut. The freshman southpaw threw five innings of shutout ball and allowed only one hit to the Crimson.

Harvard and Notre Dame will play an elimination game at 4:30 p.m. The winner advances to another elimination game against the Oregon-Arkansas loser.
