The Hogs are climbing.

The second College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday night and a week after making its debut, Arkansas moved up further. The Razorbacks jumped four spots to No. 21. It’s the school’s highest ever position in the rankings.

Other SEC teams in the 25 include Georgia (No. 1), Alabama (No. 2), Ole Miss (No. 12), Texas A&M (No. 16) and Mississippi State (No. 25). The Razorbacks travel to Alabama on Saturday.

Arkansas also found itself on the come in the two traditional polls released on Sunday. The Hogs were No. 22 in the AFCA USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll and No. 21 in the Associated Pres Poll.

Arkansas hasn’t beaten Alabama since 2005 and not once since Nick Saban has been head coach. The Crimson Tide won last year’s game, 52-3.
