Arkansas basketball's Au'Diese Toney apologizes after dead ball ejection against Penn Quakers

Au'Diese Toney says he is "sincerely sorry" for his behavior in Sunday's game.

Less than a minute into the second half of the Arkansas Razorbacks game against the Penn Quakers, the senior guard was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul.

Toney responded to a technical by Quakers' guard Jonah Charles.

There was shoving, and Toney was ejected.

In a social media post after the game, he apologized to both his fans and supporters.

"I take pride in wearing and representing this university and let my own emotions get the best of me," the post reads. "I take ownership of my actions and will not let this happen again."

Toney ended the game with 12 points and four rebounds.

The Razorbacks were leading 39-26 at the time of the ejection. They would go on to win the game, 76-60 for the team's sixth straight victory.

Fans were quick to respond to Toney's apology on Twitter.

The Razorbacks will face Central Arkansas next on Dec. 1 at Bud Walton Arena.
