Amelia Ramsey headlines the Topeka-area girls basketball final stat leaders

The high school basketball season came to a close early in March, but there's still a bow to put on the winter sports.

Six basketball teams represented the Topeka-area schools at the state tournament from Mar. 8-11 with the Hayden, Highland Park, Seaman, Silver Lake and Washburn Rural girls teams making up five of those six teams.

Silver Lake went 23-3 followed by Seaman (21-2), Highland Park (19-4), Washburn Rural (18-6), Topeka High (16-6), Rossville (16-7), Shawnee Heights (15-7), Hayden (15-8), Cair Paravel (7-14) and Topeka West (6-15).

Below are the top 10 Topeka-area stat leaders for girls basketball in scoring, two-point field goal percentage, three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, rebounds, steals, assists and blocks.

All of the stats are tracked by the respective teams and coaches and submitted to Seaman girls basketball head coach Matt Tinsley who, along with Seaman junior Tad Darting, have organized that data and put it into spreadsheets to send out to coaches.
