Remember last week when we said INTZ e-Sports beating EDward Gaming was the biggest League of Legends upset of all time? Albus NoX Luna just one-upped their Wildcard brethren.

By bringing down ROX Tigers, the first seed out of Korea, they cemented themselves as the most successful Wildcard team of all time and have earned themselves the first qualification out of Group A.

It may have taken them well over an hour, but they did it. It was definitely sketchy from about the 40-minute point onward, but they found a way to break through the mighty defenses of the ROX Tigers. It took them taking nearly a dozen Inhibitors, but they did it. ROX stole two Barons, but they did it.

What a game.

Consider how unprecedented this is. Until this season, no Wildcard team had ever won more than two games at a World Championship. Albus NoX Luna won four. No Wildcard team had ever made it out of groups. Albus NoX Luna did it over the team most analysts consider the best in the world.

This is League of Legends history, friends. Welcome to Worlds 2016.
