One of the top wide receiver prospects in the country is leaving school for the next level.

Alabama’s Jaylen Waddle is declaring for the 2021 NFL draft, per ESPN’s Field Yates.

Listed at 5-8, 182 pounds, Waddle makes up for his lack of ideal size with elite speed and explosiveness, traits that made him a big-play machine throughout his career with the Crimson Tide. Despite missing a decent chunk of the 2020 season, he’s still expected to be a first-round lock in this year’s draft.
