Alabama MBB has reached out to Louisville transfer Kamari Lands
According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.com, Alabama has reached out to Louisville transfer Kamari Lands.
Lands was ranked as the No. 60 overall recruit coming out of high school. In one season at Louisville, Lands averaged 5.9 points per game and 1.9 rebounds per game. He shot 32.6% from the floor and 32.1% from the three-point line.
He played sparingly for a Cardinals team that finished the season with a 4-28 record. However, he played a lot last season and developed over the course of the season. He scored a season-high 15 points against Georgia Tech in late February.
Other programs that have also reached out are Ohio State, Penn State, Arkansas, and LSU.
It will be interesting to see how Alabama decides to pursue the Indiana native. The Tide could lose guards Mark Sears and Jahvon Quinerly to the NBA Draft. That remains to be seen at this time.
