How Alabama faired in its last 5 meetings with the Georgia Bulldogs

On Monday night Alabama and Georgia will face off for the CFP national championship game in Indianapolis. The Bulldogs have dominated the eastern division of the SEC over the past several seasons, but they just can’t seem to get the best of the Tide.

Kirby Smart took over the head coaching job at Georgia back in 2016, but Nick Saban has owned the series over his former assistant. Can Smart finally beat Saban and give the Bulldogs their first championship since 1980? Or will coach Saban continue his dominance over former assistance and win his seventh title at Alabama?

Even though these previous matchups are completely inconsequential to Monday night’s contests, I thought we could take a look at how Alabama has faired against the Bulldogs in the last five matchups!
