We Are Aiken County series begins Monday
Jan. 14—The Aiken Standard will launch a series of articles in Monday's edition that looks at the people, places and events that shaped Aiken County.
We Are Aiken County stories will run through Feb. 26 and will cover all aspects of life in the area. The stories will run on Page 2A each day.
Topics include historical figures such as Eulalie Salley and William Gregg; notable landmarks from Hitchcock Woods to Aiken State Park; and events that range from Aiken's Makin' to the Chitlin' Strut.
