‘AGT’ 12: Darci Lynne, Angelica Hale Headline Las Vegas Shows

Darci Lynne Farmer may have won “America’s Got Talent” Season 12, but she isn’t the only contestant to headline a show in Las Vegas.

Just hours after the successful finale episode on Wednesday night, it was announced that Darci Lynne, Angelica Hale, Light Balance and Preacher Lawson will be performing in the Sin City. The winner of “America’s Got Talent” will headline a show, which is part of the contract. But Angelica, Light Balance and Preacher will also perform live for their fans.

All four acts will perform live on the same nights, but will showcase their talents separately. While still in the competition, judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel predicted that comedian Preacher will book shows right after his stint in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12. Mandel said that he is one of the best comedians he has ever met, and Cowell added that Preacher could star in his own movie or TV show.

Host Tyra Banks’ golden buzzer, Light Balance, has also wowed the crowd since they stepped on stage. Judge Heidi Klum said that if the dance troupe will have a live show, she will buy tickets to watch them again and again.

Angelica was Darci Lynne’s first runner-up. She may have fallen short of winning the $1 million grand prize, but she was well-loved by the judges and fans. The adorable 10-year-old singer sung her heart out throughout the competition. Cowell was very pleased with the fact that Angelica chose her own songs and wasn’t influenced by what her parents might have wanted her to sing.

Darci Lynne’s show will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Nov. 3 and 4. As of late, it is still unclear why fourth and third runners up Sara & Hero and Mandy Harvey were not tapped to appear in the same show. Cowell called his golden buzzer, Harvey, an inspiration. He was also very pleased with Sara & Hero’s performance and praised them despite their mistakes.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 aired its final episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT. Auditions for Season 13 are now open via the show’s official website.
