Adalberto's Absence

Matt Stroup

It's been a rough week for fantasy baseball injuries, with MLB stolen base leader Adalberto Mondesi (31 of them) hitting the shelf with a left shoulder subluxation, and White Sox OF Eloy Jimenez — 11 homers and 25 RBI since the start of June — landing on the IL with a right ulnar nerve contusion.

There's currently no timetable for either guy to return, and on the latest episode of the Rotoworld Baseball Podcast, Drew Silva and I discuss both situations — including how Luis Robert fits into the equation for the White Sox after shredding the minor leagues for most of 2019.

Also on this episode — we highlight hot streaks for Keston Hiura and Ramon Laureano, and discuss why Kenley Jansen even at less than full capacity is still more valuable than a lot of closers out there.
