Aaron Boone goes on extremely NSFW tirade on ump: 'F---ing get better'

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone didn’t last long during Game 1 of the team’s doubleheader Thursday. Boone was ejected in the second inning of the contest after arguing balls and strikes.

Like most ejections, Boone was both angry and animated, going off on umpire Brennan Miller at the plate. Unlike most ejections, fans at home could hear the whole thing. A microphone near the field managed to pick up every word Boone uttered after getting tossed from the contest.

Warning: This video features NSFW language ... but you probably knew that.

In that clip, Boone does the following:

  • Says his players are “f------ savages in the box” at least twice.

  • Tells the ump to “f------ get better.”

  • Claps his hands while telling the ump to “tighten this s--- up.”

  • Throws in an “I feel bad for ya.”

The entire rant started after Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner was called out on strikes in the second inning. Boone felt Miller had already missed a number of calls in the game.

Gardner did not handle the punch-out well.

If that’s how Boone reacted just two innings into Game 1 of a double header, we can’t wait to see what he might do if things don’t go the Yankees’ way in Game 2.
