Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson appears to be headed to doing something he hasn’t done since last September—taking snaps in a game. It’s a question of when, not if. The 2016 first-round pick left practice early on August 6 with a hamstring injury. While the injury wasn’t as serious as it was first feared, it still has kept him out of the Redskins’ preseason opener against the Ravens and out of practice until yesterday. Doctson has not appeared in a game for the Redskins since last September, when he played a total of 31 snaps in the team’s first two games before being shut down due to a lingering Achilles injury.
