“90210” Star Brian Austin Green Shares the Last Photo Luke Perry Ever Sent Him

• The Riverdale star would have turned 54 on Sunday, and Brian Austin Green, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, and Tori Spelling are remembering their 90210 co-star.

The Beverly Hills 90210 cast honored Luke Perry on Oct. 11, which would have been his 54th birthday. Perry, who starred in the Fox teen drama series as Dylan McKay, passed away on March 4, 2019, after a sudden stroke. In remembrance, his friends took to Instagram to share memories and kind words.

Brian Austin Green, who played David Silver on Beverly Hills 90210, posted a throwback photo of him and Perry when they were younger, wearing matching 90210 shirts while at the beach. “Happy Birthday brother!! Love You ❤️,” he wrote in the caption.

Green shared another photo of the late Riverdale star and his dog, writing in the caption, “This was the last picture you texted me. It’s the lock screen on my phone. This has been a really hard day but you positively touched everyone you ever met. I love and miss you brother.”

BH90210 star Jennie Garth, who was known as Kelly Taylor on the popular show, also shared a photo of her and Perry in more recent years. “Forever in my heart,” she captioned the post.

Ian Ziering, who starred as Steve Sanders on BH90210, also took to Instagram to share his thoughts on Perry’s 54th birthday. He shared a photo of him, Perry, Green, and their other BH90210 co-star Jason Priestly.

“All brothers from different mothers. Happy birthday LP, RIP,” he wrote in the caption.

On Sunday, BH90210 star Tori Spelling shared a photo with her son Beau, 3, and opened up about how she was feeling. “Lazy Sunday with family... some down time today gives me a pause for reflection. Grateful to my family and extended family. Loving on them hard right now,” she wrote. “And, doesn’t feel right not to mention that today is our brother Luke’s bday. Thinking about him and missing him. But, that’s every day. So grateful he got to meet my littlest Beau and snuggle him when he was a babe.”

Perry is survived by his son Jack Perry and daughter Sophie Perry. The Riverdale star was buried in an eco-friendly mushroom suit, which was one of his “final wishes,” Sophie wrote in an Instagram post.

In a post following his dad’s death, Jack opened up about all that his father meant to him. “He was a lot of things to a lot of people. To me, he was always Dad,” Jack wrote. "He loved supported me in everything, and inspired me to be the best that I could possibly be.”

“I’ve learned so much from you, and my heart is broken thinking about everything you won’t be here for. I’ll miss you every day that I walk this earth,” he said.

It’s clear the actor meant so much to his loved ones.
