What to do with the 8th pick in a fantasy football draft

Yahoo fantasy expert Andy Behrens offer some strategy tips and players to consider with the 8th pick in a fantasy football draft.

ANDY BEHRENS: All right. Obviously, the eighth spot in a fantasy draft is no one's dream choice. It's not your first choice. But I'll have you know that it dramatically outproduced positions 1, 2, and 3 in fantasy leagues last year. This spot isn't for everyone, though, because you've got choices.

Nick Chubb has been the pick here in a typical Yahoo draft. And he's coming off a ridiculous season, in which he topped 1,000 yards in only 12 games. That's absurd. Chubb could win a rushing title this year, and it would not surprise us a bit. He's never averaged fewer than 5 yards per carry in any season.

And at eight, your second-round pick is going to be a player who can deliver round-one value. That's one of the things that we really love about this. I'm calling it right now. I think you're the favorite here. Yeah, I tend to pep talk a lot of other teams, too, but listen. I don't mean it with those guys the way I mean it with you.
