8 former Cardinals on rosters for Bills, Colts

The first playoff game of the day on Saturday is between the Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills. While the Arizona Cardinals are not in the postseason, there are a number of former Cardinals players who are.

Check out who the former Cardinals are on the rosters of the Colts and Bills below.


Colts OL Will Holden

Holden was drafted by the Cardinals in 2017 in the fifth round. He won't play on Saturday as he is injured but he has bounced around the league a bit and now gets to be part of a playoff team.

Colts OL Jared Veldheer

Veldheer used to be the Cardinals' left tackle after signing as a free agent, starting from 2014-2016 and then at right tackle in 2017. He was traded to the Denver Broncos and has been in and out of retirement the last two seasons. He was signed to the Colts practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for the game.

Colts CB Andre Chachere

Chachere is on Indy's practice squad. He spent part of the 2019 season in Arizona on the active roster and on the practice squad.

Colts OL Sam Jones

Cardinals Training Camp

Jones was with the Cardinals this past offseason and was on the practice squad last season. He is on the Colts practice squad now.

Bills QB Matt Barkley

Barkley is Buffalo's backup quarterback. He spent the 2015 season with the Cardinals as their No. 3 quarterback and never saw game action.

Bills WR John Brown

Brown was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round in 2014 and played four years for them before leaving in free agency. He is in his second season with Buffalo but only played in eight games this season, dealing with injuries.

Bills WR Andre Roberts

Roberts was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round in 2010. He is mainly a return specialist and is in his second year with the Bills. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive season.

Bills CB Duke Thomas
