ANDY BEHRENS: Seventh pick. Not too bad. I generally think that there's seven or eight guys who could plausibly go number one overall. So if I can get the sixth, seventh, eighth pick, that's great with me. I'm happy with it. You're in the dead center of the draft, too, so you're not exposed to position runs.

This is a good place to be. In an average Yahoo draft so far in 2021, Jacob deGrom has been the pick. He's perhaps the Cy Young favorite in the National League. He's fantastic. You get an anchor like that for your pitching ratios right at the top, and you're in a situation where you can just draft hitter after hitter, slugger after slugger. Make sure you get some steals near the top of the draft. I love the way a team can begin from seven.
