New 7-round Steelers mock draft sim hits the mark for Pittsburgh

It is time once again to put the fate of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the hands of the algorithm and see where it leads us. We ran a full seven-round mock draft in a draft simulator and let it make all the picks. Let’s see what went right and what went wrong for Pittsburgh.

Typically I am highly critical of these draft simulations but it’s hard to argue against this one. Brian Branch, Anton Harrison and Siaki Ika are year-one contributors and Tyrique Stevenson is a great developmental cornerback. Can’t fault the sim for giving the Steelers Ricky Stromberg when Pittsburgh just signed Isaac Seumalo the night before. Overall there isn’t a bad pick in this group and it would be a draft Pittsburgh could really build from.
