6 Mets prospects on ESPN's Top 100 list for 2024, including Ryan Clifford

The Mets, whose farm system was bolstered in a big way during last season's trade deadline, have six prospects on ESPN's new Top 100 list for the 2024 season.

Those prospects:

INF Jett Williams: No. 31
OF Drew Gilbert: No. 39
INF Luisangel Acuña: No. 58
INF Ronny Mauricio: No. 72
OF Ryan Clifford: No. 80
RHP Christian Scott: No. 99

Of the players on the list, one (Mauricio) has already debuted, and four others (Williams, Gilbert, Acuña, and Scott) could all make their big league debut at some point this season.

Mauricio is unfortunately out for most, if not all, of this season following ACL surgery. But Gilbert, Acuña, and Scott will all be in Triple-A Syracuse to start the year, putting them a phone call away from the majors.

Williams, an on-base machine who raked his way through three levels of the farm system in 2023, finished the year with Double-A Binghamton and will open this season there.

Clifford, who has perhaps the best raw power in the system, will likely start the year with High-A Brooklyn.

With ESPN's top prospect list being just the latest one released, here's a look at where the Mets prospects have landed on the other updated Top 100 lists this offseason:
