Eugene Water and Electric Board is reporting the utility has fully restored power to about 6,100 customers in southwest Eugene.

There were more than a dozen outages reported Monday afternoon in an area bound roughly by Westmoreland Park and Bailey Hill Road to the east and west and by Fifth Avenue and Lorane Highway to the north and south. That was down to five outages and 1,100 customers by 5:06 p.m. Monday.

As of 5:55 p.m. Monday, the utility reported no outages and zero customers without power. Anyone still without power can report their outage to 844-484-2300.

The utility has determined the outage was due to equipment failure, spokesman Aaron Orlowski said.
