5 players the Bucs could target in Rounds 2 and 3
The Bucs are soon to be on the clock again on Day 2 of the NFL draft, where they have a pick in Round 2 and Round 3 each. After taking DT Calijah Kancey in the first round, there are a few other options the team could go with its Day 2 picks.
Here are five players the Bucs could look to target:
CB Clark Phillips III, Utah

Phillips III is a slot corner who would be plug and play with Tampa Bay’s current lack of secondary depth. He’d be a realistic option to take at pick No. 50.
QB Will Levis, Kentucky

It is highly unlikely Levis would still be available at pick No. 50, but if he was, Jason Licht could add a third quarterback to the mix at far less than he initially thought he was able to do so.
S Sydney Brown, Illinois

Brown visited the Bucs on a top-30 visit and could slot in next to Antoine Winfield or Ryan Neal. The Bucs could always use more secondary depth, and Brown could be that answer.
OT/G Cody Mauch, North Dakota State

Mauch doesn’t have ideal size, but he offers good fundamentals that could see him be a decent Day 2 pick for the Bucs to bring another body on the offensive line.
TE Darnell Washington, Georgia
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
The Bucs could use a dominant blocking TE like Darnell Washington, and he’ll be available in Day 2. If he’s around in the second round when the Bucs pick at No. 50, expect him to be a viable option.
