The NFL has a high number of Georgia Bulldogs in the league thanks to Kirby Smart’s recent streak of consecutive record-setting NFL drafts. Georgia fans can watch 15 rookies during the 2022 NFL season.

Additionally, Matthew Stafford, Roquan Smith, D’Andre Swift, and more remain in the NFL as some of the most entertaining players to watch in the league.

What five NFL games, that prominently feature Georgia players, should Bulldog fans circle on their calendars?

Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams travel to Green Bay to face the Packers on Monday Night Football on Dec. 19. Does the NFL get any better than that?

Aaron Rodgers versus Matthew Stafford will be talked about a ton heading into the game, but Georgia fans will be focusing on Stafford versus the Green Bay defense. The Packers have used their last three first round picks on a trio Georgia Bulldog defenders.

Eric Stokes, Devonte Wyatt, Quay Walker, and the Green Bay defense will look to stop reigning Super Bowl MVP Matthew Stafford in a game that should have playoff implications.

Atlanta Falcons fans were thrilled after their organization finally drafted a pair of Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL draft. Atlanta also signed outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter this offseason.

Carter and Atlanta will look to stop Nick Chubb and the Cleveland Browns, who will play at Atlanta on Oct. 2.

New York Giants at Philadephia Eagles

The Giants and Eagles are NFC East rivals, so they play each other twice. Both games will prominently feature Georgia Bulldogs like Andrew Thomas, Tae Crowder, Azeez Ojulari, Jordan Davis, and Nakobe Dean.

All five of these Georgia Bulldogs are expected to start during the 2022 NFL season. We consider the Giants’ Jan. 8, 2023 trip to Philadelphia to be the more interesting of the two match-ups as it could decide the NFC East crown.

The Packers are set to play at Miami on Christmas Day. The game is a gift for Georgia fans as the two teams have a combined eight former Georgia Bulldogs.

The Dolphins have defensive tackle John Jenkins, linebacker Channing Tindall, running back Sony Michel, and offensive guard Solomon Kindley. Green Bay features corner Eric Stokes, linebacker Quay Walker, defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt, and tight end Eli Wolf.

The Jaguars make the trek up north to Detroit to play the Lions on Dec. 4. Will either one of these teams be competitive in 2022?

Regardless, the game is projected to feature several interesting narratives including the two top selections of the 2022 NFL draft: No. 1 pick Travon Walker against No. 2 pick Aidan Hutchinson. Additionally, Detroit running back D’Andre Swift will be on the field against Walker and defensive back Tyson Campbell.
