The San Francisco 49ers are set to add a veteran to their thin secondary. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer on Sunday reporter Josh Norman is set to join the 49ers in an effort to aid their cornerback corps. NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo reported Norman can make up to $2.5 millionNorman can make up to $2.5 million with San Francisco

Norman, 33, spent last season with the Buffalo Bills. The 2015 Pro Bowler and First-Team All-Pro started 11 of his 21 games across two seasons with Washington and Buffalo.

The Panthers selected Norman in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL draft. In his nine-year career he’s tallied 95 starts in 120 games. He has 15 interceptions and 83 pass breakups in that span.

To add him the 49ers would need to make a corresponding move on their 53-man roster.
