The San Francisco 49ers on Friday officially signed kicker Tristan Vizcaino to their practice squad and placed two more players on Injured Reserve.

Vizcaino most recently was on the Vikings’ practice squad, but also spent time with the Bengals and Cowboys after a four-year career at the University of Washington. He’s yet to make his NFL debut, which will occur Sunday with Robbie Gould on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Left tackle Trent Williams and defensive end Jordan Willis were both placed on Injured Reserve to officially end their seasons a week early. Both players were hurt in the Week 16 win over the Cardinals. Williams sprained his elbow and Willis suffered an ankle injury.

Defensive lineman Alex Barrett was elevated from the practice squad to make his seventh appearance of the season. He has four tackles and two quarterback hits in his previous six games.
