The Charlotte 49ers and IMG College have announced a three-year radio partnership with 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte to serve as the flagship station for the 49ers IMG Radio Network. The three-year deal will run through June 30, 2020.

As part of the deal, all Charlotte 49ers football and men's basketball games will be broadcast live on 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte. In addition, 730 The Game will air "Gold Mine Live", the 49ers Coaches' Show, Monday afternoons and again Monday evenings from 7-8 pm. 730 The Game has also agreed to air a minimum of three baseball and three women's basketball games over the course of the season. The partnership will include promotional mentions and broadcast announcements throughout the day, as well as on-air appearances from 49ers coaches and staff.

"We are thrilled to announce our partership with 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte. We're excited to be able to provide our fans a single landing spot for all of our game broadcasts and a home for substantial 49ers content," said 49ers Director of Athletics Judy Rose.

"We are ecstatic about our partnership with the Charlotte 49ers, which has put together an athletic program under Judy Rose that proudly represents this city both on and off its playing surfaces," said 730 The Game ESPN Charlotte owner Marty Hurney. "So many people in this city have ties to the University in one way or another. We are very pleased and honored to be able to provide game broadcasts as well as daily news and analysis of all of the school's sports."

The 49ers announce teams for the 2017-18 season will remain intact. Longtime play-by-play voice Matt Swierad will be joined by color analyst and former Carolina Panther Kevin Donnalley and sideline reporter and 730 The Game on-air personality Bobby Rosinski during football season. For men's basketball games Swierad will again team up with former 49ers great Jobey Thomas.

For football game days, 730 The Game will air a two-hour pregame show and a half-hour post-game recap. On basketball game days, the pregame and postgame shows will be 30 minutes.

"It's exciting to see some of the changes taking place at 730 The Game. We've always enjoyed working with Bobby and look forward to renewing a relationship with Gerry V.," Rose added, noting the return of afternoon-show host Gerry Vaillancourt to the Charlotte market. "I have the highest respect, as well, for Marty and appreciate his strong pledge of support for our program."
