4-star TE Ethan Barbour sets commitment date, names top 5

Four-star tight end recruit Ethan Barbour has named his top five schools. Barbour, who plans to announce his commitment on Sept. 22, is a member of the class of 2025.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound tight end is the No. 4 tight end in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Barbour is ranked as the No. 181 recruit in his class and the No. 22 recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports. He is currently projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia tight end coach Todd Hartley has done an excellent job of recruiting the tight end position in recent seasons.

Ethan Barbour plays high school football for Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. Barbour holds more than 30 scholarship offers.

The Alpharetta standout checked out Georgia football’s spring game back in April. Kirby Smart and Georgia already have a commitment from the top tight end in the 2025 recruiting cycle in Elyiss Williams.

Barbour’s top schools are Ohio State, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama.
