4-star DE Kavion Henderson sets commitment date

Four-star defensive end recruit Kavion Henderson has set his commitment date. Henderson plans to commit on Nov. 6.

Georgia football and special teams coach Scott Cochran offered a scholarship to the defensive end on Feb. 10.

Henderson is a rising junior at Leeds High School in Leeds, Alabama. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive end has bulked up recently. Henderson is a member of the class of 2024.

The four-star pass rusher considers his top 10 schools to be Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Miami, LSU, Texas A&M, UNC and Cincinnati. Kavion Henderson is favored to commit to the Oklahoma Sooners or Arkansas Razorbacks per 247Sports.

Henderson is an excellent athlete. He also plays basketball and started as an eighth grader on the varsity team.

The Leeds star is ranked as the No. 187 recruit in the class of 2024 and the No. 8 player in Alabama. Henderson is the No. 17 player at his position.
