AUBURN | Summary and statistics from No. 12 Auburn's game against Ole Miss at Jordan-Hare Stadium.


Ole Miss drove 49 yards on its opening possession but Gary Wunderlich's 43-yard field goal bounced off the uprights. Auburn's offense began with a 10-play, 74-yard drive capped by a 17-yard touchdown run by Kerryon Johnson. The Rebels answered with a 65-yard drive as Wunderlich made a 27-yard field goal. On the next play, Ryan Davis caught a screen pass from Jarrett Stidham and took it 75 yards for a touchdown and a 14-3 AU lead.


The opening play of the 2nd quarter was a 19-yard touchdown pass from Stidham to Darius Slayton. After another 3-and-out by AU's defense, Johnson took off over the left side for a 48-yard TD run to put AU up 28-3. Auburn added another touchdown on a 74-yard drive as Johnson scored from five yards out.


Noah Igbinoghene opened the half with a 70-yard kickoff return. Auburn was unable to advance the ball but Daniel Carlson made a 49-yard field goal to put AU up 38-3. Ole Miss put together its best drive of the game going 75 yards as Shea Patterson connected with DK Metcalf for a 9-yard TD pass. Auburn answered with a 77-yard drive as Carlson hit a 25-yard field goal to make it 41-10.


Ole Miss drove 63 yards for another touchdown on an 8-yard pass from Patterson to Metcalf. Carlson added a 35-yard field goal. The Rebels added a late touchdown.
