In The Know is proud to celebrate Black-owned businesses. During Black History Month, our team will highlight a new Black-owned business each day. We encourage you to support today and beyond.

Beauty subscription boxes are great for people who love a bit of beauty variety. However, many beauty subscription boxes don't offer options that cater to people of color or people with a variety of skin tones and hair textures.

That's why Cocotique's curated subscription boxes on Amazon are a gamechanger.

Cocotique is a Black-owned subscription box that, for $25 a month, will send you a curated assortment of different beauty products, from hair care to makeup to essential everyday items. The brand showcases both established brands as well as Black-owned and POC-owned brands that are on the come up, giving products equal eyes and opportunities to thrive. Right now on Amazon, you can save $3 off of your first box and set up your subscriptions to receive a new box each month.

One customer wrote receiving the box feels like a present every month. “Everything in the box is a joyful surprise. I love all the items. It is like receiving a Christmas present to yourself every month.”

This subscription box does an amazing job of highlighting marginalized businesses and Black-owned brands, while also giving the customer products that work for our skin and hair type. While subscription boxes may be plenty, seeing a curated box for women of color by a Black woman is all too rare -- and undeniably exciting.
