2024 NFL draft: Top offensive targets for the Bucs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ primary focus this offseason has been locking up offensive talent already on the roster, particularly quarterback Baker Mayfield and wide receiver Mike Evans. The 2024 NFL draft now offers Tampa Bay the opportunity to address a lingering need on the offensive line, and plan for the future elsewhere.

Tampa Bay has had one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL for over two years, thanks largely to a series of setbacks along the offensive line. The Bucs’ maneuvers to address the chaos have so far proven unsuccessful, so a more direct injection of talent may be required.

While it appears Tampa Bay is otherwise willing to head into 2024 with the same offensive talent from last season, continuity may simply be masking foresight into the future of the offense.
