2024 Georgia safety includes Tennessee in top-nine schools
Four-star safety Ricardo Jones announced his top-nine schools on Saturday.
Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina, Michigan, Arkansas, Auburn and Texas are Jones’ top-nine schools.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound safety is from Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Jones is the No. 122 overall prospect and No. 10 safety in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 2 safety and No. 21 player in Georgia, according to On3 Sports industry rankings.
He earned first-team 6A All-State honors last season as a junior, recording 37 tackles, five interceptions and seven pass breakups.
Jones totaled 78 tackles, six tackles for a loss, 12 interceptions and nine pass breakups from 2021-22.
He unofficially visited Tennessee on April 1.
