2023 NFL schedule: Bills face Jets Week 1 on Monday Night Football

The Buffalo Bills’ season opener for the 2023 NFL season is going to be watched by the world on prime time.

The NFL is set to release the entire league’s schedules for the upcoming year on Thursday. Early in the day, the NFL had a teaser for every team: Announcing their season openers.

For the Bills, it’s a trip to the New York Jets on the massive stage that is Monday Night Football.

That means Buffalo will close out the first week of the upcoming season. In 2022, the Bills visited the Los Angeles Rams and won their opener, a game which was played on Thursday, a.k.a. the first contest of the entire season.

In addition, that Bills-Jets matchup will be the first chapter ofthe Aaron Rodgers’ tenure in New York. Another huge first matchup of the year for Buffalo awaits.
