Friday's Day 2 begins at 11 a.m. with Rounds 2-7.

The Detroit Red Wings picked Austrian center Marco Kasper with the eighth overall pick in the first round Thursday. He has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League.

The Red Wings enter the second day with nine more picks: two in Round 2, three in Round 4 and two in Round 7. They don't have a sixth-round pick.
