2021 NFL draft: 5 super sleepers for the Steelers to consider
As important as their first-round pick will be this year for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the future of this team is going to be built in the middle rounds. As we continue to dig into the prospects and have put together a quick list of five mid-round prospects that could really help Pittsburgh.
DT Jordon Scott-Oregon

Scott is a low-slung people mover with natural power and leverage for the nose tackle position. He's not an every-down player but on early downs can swallow up blockers and free up linebackers.
OT Walker Little-Stanford

Conventional wisdom says the Steelers take an offensive tackle early but if they wait, Little is a great choice. He's built exactly the way you want your NFL left tackle with ideal size and length. He's also an excellent athlete and shows great range. His pass protection is his strength but an NFL strength program will help him as a run blocker.
IOL Kendrick Green-Illinois

Last season the Steelers stole one of the best offensive linemen in the draft with Kevin Dotson. If they use a mid-round pick on Green this time around, they will do it again.
EDGE Ronnie Perkins, Oklahoma

Perkins is a thick-built edge with a great first step and absolutely relentless motor. Not as polished as you'd like he is very coachable and would be an excellent rotational player with Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt.
RB Pooka Williams, Kansas

Acceleration and lateral quickness is what Williams' game is all about. He's a patient runner but once he sees a crease he gets there and runs away. The Steelers need speed and big-play on offense and Williams fits the bill.
