Thursday Night Football kicks off the NFL season on an annual basis before satisfying fans' cravings for action during the week throughout the season. The 2020 season is no different with a Thursday night slate that features a number of exciting marquee matchups with great storylines.

The reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, will kick off the NFL season against the Houston Texans. Those Texans saw the Chiefs rally back from a 24-0 hole in one quarter for a victory in the AFC Divisional round.

After a couple of in-state matchups in weeks two and three, and the Denver Broncos against the New York Jets in Week 5, Tom Brady will make his first Thursday Night Football appearance as a Buccaneer against Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears.

In Week 9, there will be a 2019 NFC Championship game rematch between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers

The Ravens play on Thursday Night Football two weeks in a row, starting with a Thanksgiving matchup against the Steelers in Pittsburgh before hosting the Cowboys one week later in Baltimore.

Thursday Night Football will hit Las Vegas in Week 15 before the final installment of the regular season in Week 16.
