The Boston Celtics are no strangers to owning multiple first-round picks in a single NBA Draft.
The C's have drafted more than one player in Round 1 five times (2019, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2012) in the last decade. We might soon be adding 2020 to this list because the Celtics are projected to have three first-round picks in the upcoming draft.

The Celtics still have their own first-round pick. They also own the Milwaukee Bucks' first-rounder, and they will receive the Memphis Grizzlies' first-round pick if it falls outside the top six. For the Grizzlies pick to not convey to Boston in 2020, Memphis would have to miss the playoffs and defy the odds by jumping up in the draft lottery. The chances of those scenarios unfolding are very, very slim.
Boston doesn't have any glaring roster needs ahead of the draft, but bolstering its talent/depth at center would be a smart strategy. However, two of the Celtics' picks are expected to land late in the first round, so it might make more sense to just pick the best player available regardless of position. It really just depends on which players are still on the board at that time.
