After a lack of big names in the 2019 Slam Dunk Contest, a few of the NBA's best dunkers have returned to the Slam Dunk Contest in 2020.

Dwight Howard returns to the contest after a decade-long hiatus. The Lakers center won the contest in 2008 and was the runner-up to Nate Robinson in the epic 2009 contest.

Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is also making a return to Saturday night's signature event. Gordon finished as a runner-up to Zach Lavine in 2016 (and was robbed of the title, depending on who you ask). Gordon went deep into his bag of tricks the last time he appeared in the contest; it'll be interesting to see what new dunks he's come up with over the past few years.

High-flying Miami Heat forward Derrick Jones Jr. finished as the runner-up in 2017, back when he was a rookie. Jones has the most bounce of anyone in this year's contest.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Connaughton is the lone participant in this year's grouping to make his Dunk Contest debut. The 27-year-old is full of athleticism and the true wild card in the lineup.

Here's everything you need to know.
