After touching base with all of his 2018 targets, Kentucky head coach John Calipari has moved onto the class of 2019.
His first stop landed with an offer as the Cats checked in on the No. 2 player in the class, James Wiseman.
The Memphis native has been hearing from Kentucky for months but Calipari extended an offer when meeting with him on Thursday.

Wiseman averaged 9.9 points, 6.3 points and 1.7 blocks per game in the Nike EYBL Circuit.
He already holds offers from Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, Indiana and dozens more, but the Cats will make him one of their top targets in the class of 2019. Wiseman is the first player the Cats have offered in the class of 2019. Initially it was R.J. Barrett but with him reclassifying to 2018, Wiseman stands alone in 2019.
The 6-foot-10, 210-pound forward isn't finished growing and it's likely he will be 7-foot by the time he steps on a college campus.
